Aspect Building Blocks delivers an evidence based, multi-disciplinary framework using elements from behavioural, developmental and social learning, therapy based and family based interventions.
Aspect Building Blocks is recognised through the Australian Governments Helping Children with Autism (HCWA) package as an evidence based comprehensive program. Aspect currently offers the Building Blocks Program as a Center-based service or an individual basis.
Building Blocks - centre-based program involves you and your child attending a series of structured group sessions across the year. Children attend a highly structured, small group where they participate in indoor play, outdoor play, circle time and snack time.
The parent attends a series of parent information, training and support sessions. Groups are currently run at Ashfield, Camden, Toongabbie, Gordon, Lapstone, Hurstville and Illawara. These groups are partially Government funded, spaces are limited and eligibility criteria applies.
Building Blocks - individualised program is available for children up to eight years of age. By taking a family centred approach, Aspect Building Blocks helps you to understand your child’s strengths, abilities, interests and needs while encouraging positive relationships to be formed.
Children develop the skills and knowledge required to take appropriate actions to meet their needs and maintain positive social relationships.
The team of early intervention specialists are able to deliver services in your home, your child’s childcare, preschool, school or another environment of your choice.
