Bridgewater Park is on the site of the Old Balmain Power Station and the heritage Pumphouse still makes up part of the park. It has two BBQs, covered seating area, children's playground with shade cover, views over Iron Cove to Birkenhead Point and joins Balmain and the Bay Run.
Such a beautiful park and playground tucked away at the bottom of the Balmain Shores complex, it's on the water overlooking Birkenhead Point. There is ramp and stair access from Margaret Street, and stair access from Warayama Place.
This park has a huge expanse of open space, perfect to kick a ball around. The fenced playground is tucked at the back of of the park and partially covered by a shade cloth, The playground facilities include swings, sand play area and two sets of climbing equipment. Perfect for both younger and older kids.
The park also includes BBQ facilities and undercover tables.
