Sydney's Inner West
A lovely cafe with a rooftop oasis in the heart of Drummoyne.
After a day exploring the local area, we were keen to sit down, relax and eat some delicious food. So glad we stumbled upon Copo Cafe and Diner! A gorgeous cafe whose address is Victoria Road, but you will find it tucked away around the back of the block, conveniently next to the council car park on Formosa Street!
Beautifully fitted out, Coco has a really relaxed modern feel. We grabbed a table by the window downstairs, which had the sun streaming through - perfect on a cold Winters Day. There is also a rooftop terrace with a herb garden, and lovely plants which is worth checking out - no pram access upstairs though, so only suitable for slightly older kids.
The menu is extensive and there are daily specials which are worth considering. There is also a kids menu which includes a Cheese Jaffle, Bowl of Fries, Pasta and Cheese, Pasta and Meatballs and a burger - prices from $5.00
We ordered the Zucchini and Quinoa fritters, and the steak sandwich with chocolate milkshake - our empty plates showed how much we enjoyed it!
With easily accessible toilets, change table, high chairs and a relaxed vibe - we really enjoyed Copo (food was great too!). They staff were really friendly, and so happy to accommodate the whims of a picky 6 year old (no salad on the sandwich, sauce on the side, need I say more?).
Don't forget to finish up with one of the many cakes on offer - extremely tough to choose - they all looked so yummy!
