Sydney's Inner West
Roastville is a fantastic new cafe on the scene in Marrickville.
With a modern, warm and inviting fit out, great food and coffee you should put Roastville on your list of cafes to visit.
Occupying a non discript unused factory on Victoria Road in Marrickville, you will find yourself smiling when you walk through the door. The cafe is spacious and beautifully decorated including timber sourced locally a feature throughout, including the parquetry tables that were made for the cafe.
The other thing you will notice is the friendly staff and warm welcome. Kids are more than welcome and pram access is made easy with a lift to help you in. High chairs are available, but get in early to claim a chair!
After hearing lots about this new cafe on the scene we decided to check it out to break up a morning of chores.
We were pleasantly surprised when we walked in, the cafe is light bright and friendly. There is a lovely verandah out the front if you would like to sit outside and the inside is spacious with plenty of room.
The lunch menu looked great, and was complemented by an all day breakfast - which includes a kids menu.
We ordered the burger and Roastville Club which were very generous meals and came with a side of chips which were delicious!
We were also lucky enough to sample some of the yummy cakes and can personally recommend the Banana Buckwheat bread and Velvet beetroot cake. Delicious!
If you love the coffee, it is roasted onsite, so you can grab a bag to take home.
