Sydney's Inner West
This would have to be the most child-friendly, child catered for pub in Sydney's Inner West. With high chairs, play area for kids in a converted garage with small climbing wall and ball pit, chalk board, play mats and plastic rocking frames. Kids rule in this part of the pub.
There is always a good vibe when you walk into this Inner West favourite. The staff are extremely accommodating, and regardless of how busy they are - nothing seems to be an issue - they are unflappable!
We would highly recommend booking a table, especially on weekends. We usually head up for dinner at 5pm, so we can feed the kids (particularly the younger ones) and they can get in a play before it gets too busy.
Parents need to supervise their kids but can easily enjoy a meal and drink while the kids are off having a play. But don't worry big kids, there's pin-ball machines and dart boards inside.
The outdoor beer garden is beside the 'kids garage', it's spacious, with a gorgeous vertical garden, plants and orange trees and colourful umbrellas for the hot sunny days.
The Menu is fresh, tasty and reasonably priced with the likes of a New York beef Hot Dog, onions, pickles, mustard, cheddar & chips ($14), Maple miso grilled king salmon fillet ($26), Karaage Chicken Burger ($17) - Delicious!
The Kids menu is great too, real fish fingers & chips ($7), Taco toasties ($7), Macaroni with cheese ($6) and epic milkshakes all $4 with flavours like real vanilla malt, salted caramel and berry & rose. They also have a range of ice creams and ice cream sandwiches to finish off your meal.
