Sydney's Inner West
Thornton Park is a small, quaint park on the waterfront with spectacular views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. It's nestled between waterfront houses and the Balmain East Ferry Wharf.
This lovely park feels like a secret garden. It looks directly at the Bridge but is almost surrounded on the other three sides. It can be accessed from Darling Street (near the buses and ferry wharf) or from James Lane.
Apart from the spectacular view, there's a very traditional rose garden and a small children's play structure.
