Sydney's Inner West
Little Kickers classes introduce football to children aged from 18 months to their 7th birthday. Football classes are available for children up to their 5th birthday at this location.
The Little Kickers programme was developed by a group of FA qualified coaches and preschool schoolteachers. As a result, rather than focusing purely on football, the programme incorporates a number of early learning goals.
Valuable concepts such as sharing and teamwork are introduced in a fun environment. Classes also enable children to develop agility, co-ordination and balance whilst providing them with a positive introduction to sport.
It's not just about football though, this imagination-based program also helps children with colours, counting, sharing and teamwork and has many other benefits such as developing confidence, co-ordination and control.
Little Kickers runs all year round (except public holidays and for a few weeks over Christmas) meaning you can enrol at ANY TIME. You don't need to wait for a new term to start at Little Kickers. Enrolment is easy and can be done completely online!

KIDsize Living Review:
Claire and I headed to Little Kickers last week to see what the girls thought! What a blast! We arrived and were greeted by two very friendly coaches who obviously love what they do and are great at handling the kids - which at times resembled herding cats!
The girls had a ball. They loved being surrounded by heaps of soccer balls and had such a great time kicking them wildly around the hall. There was a series of little "drills" conducted which included kicking into the goal. collecting some coloured markers, running and then kicking and sitting on your soccer ball. The obvious physical skills were covered but also sitting and listening, working on colour recognition and following instructions also featured.
All in all it was a very enjoyable session. There are various time slots depending on the age of your child so they will always be with other children of similar age. The coaches are very understanding and obviously very used to working with groups of young children (who don't always - or even never!) - follow instructions. Best of all the girls both had smiles on their faces and were totally exhausted by the experience... well ready for a nap when they got home.
